It has been three years since the last staging of the expo, "A Touch of France in Jamaica", the now biennial, French 3-day exhibition which attracted 2000 visitors over the period, each year from 2000 to 2013.
Given the success of this operation and the increasing demand of our partners who participated in some nine stagings of this event, we have decided to revive this amazing experience and are pleased to announce that ‘A Touch of France 2016 ’ (TOF 2016) will be held on 23rd, 24th and 25th November, 2016 at the Spanish Court Hotel, Valencia Pavilion in Kingston.
Both a commercial and cultural exhibition, “A Touch of France” is seen as an important event in the Franco-Jamaican friendship as it offers the opportunity to the Jamaican public to discover the French technical and commercial savoir faire in its vast diversity. A Touch of France is a showcase for French companies and organizations from various sectors offering them the chance: to present their products r services, establish concrete and lasting business partnerships with local commercial actors, as well as to discover and develop new markets.
This is also an opportunity to present various aspects of French culture, whether from mainland France or from its overseas departments, through the participation of those who live this culture everyday i.e. artists and professionals from the world of music, dance, cuisine and fashion.
A Touch of France is now managed and implemented by the Embassy of France and the Club France-Jamaica, a not for profit organisation, chaired by Mr. Pierre Lemaire. Support for this operation come from our partners: Total Jamaica, Vinci Construction, CMA CGM, The Spanish Court Hotel and Saint International.
